Not long ago I wanted to download some movies for the summer rerun season. So, I started to look for the best available deal.

By their nature movie rental places stock only the more popular movies. And those movies are not inexpensive. My tastes in entertainment are different from those of most others. The movies I enjoy are normally not stocked by the rental stores.

My ideas about entertaining movies are more along the lines of movies made many years ago - musicals, mysteries, comedies.

Isn't it odd that in those bygone years comedians could tell one joke after another while receiving standing ovations and without speaking a single curse word. All this was done with never an inference that someone might somehow be inferior to someone else.

While not the perfect times, families could at least find good, entertaining movies to watch together without being offended or denigrated.

Times have changed! If you are able to watch five or ten minutes of a movie without hearing even one curse word or seeing someone's naked butt on the screen, consider yourself very fortunate. As for me, I do not appreciate that nonsense. I have been around longer than the usual movie goer and I have heard and used all those words and I know what they mean. So hearing them from someone else does not thrill me. Also, I have seen my own butt in the mirror often enough that I am now readily able to recognize one when I see it. I therefore have no need to look at one belonging to someone else.

Imagine my surprise and pleasure when I found a site which offers unlimited downloading opportunities for more than 80 million DVD quality movies. Of course the service has a cost - just as with everything in life. But that one time cost was less than $40 for unlimited access and unlimited downloading. How many rentals could you get for that? And, you don't need to drive to the rental store in a blizzard or a rain storm!

What a selection these people have! They offered both old and very new movies; I even found movies that I had enjoyed watching with my parents when I was a child. Very good memories indeed!
